For the past two decades, Po'Chop has transformed performance, education, and community building in ways that transform. Your support isn’t just a gift, it's an investment in a practice with impact:

We create spaces of joy, healing, and expression for Black and Brown queer folks.

We elevate and preserve the legacy of Black burlesque, honoring past, present, and future performers through The Black Burlesque Directory.

We provide platforms for drag kings and drag-expansive artists, through Notes on Masculinity—challenging gender norms and celebrating radical masculinity.

We offer transformative education and mentorship, through Houes of the Lorde and institutions like Roosevelt University, SAIC, and Columbia College Chicago.

We expand the language of performance, blending burlesque, drag, dance, and storytelling to celebrate Black queer life and challenge erasure.

We build community through shared rituals, from THICK to The People’s Church of the G.H.E.T.T.O to —making space for remembrance, celebration, and communion.

We invite others to see themselves more clearly, to celebrate their own stories, and to find courage through embodied practices.
