The Brown Pages function as an eco-friendly, underground world of their own, paying homage to working class people in an endless library of liberation, uplifting unsung Black women through poetry, video, photography and text."

The Brown Pages began outta desire to create a digital world that could hold our artistic practice—our research, memes, movement explorations, journal entries, and beyond. We wanted a space outside of social media that reflected the intention we pour into our work.
Over six years, these tender pages charted the course of our practice and gave us room to explore and expand our visual art.
Two years ago, the archive of images and PNG files that made up The Brown Pages was deleted, leaving me completely overwhelmed at the task of attempting to reupload everything. Recently, we’ve felt called to return to this space, to this practice of archiving and sharing our work.
Unlike anything else on the inter-web, The Brown Pages is home to our reflections, news, behind-the-scenes videos, digital artwork, and history lessons. Interactive and playful, it’s a purposeful place to learn, share, and explore—a space to disrupt the scroll and reimagine our relationship to the internet.
A new edition will be published soon. Until then, explore The Brown Pages archive, where we’ve revamped our favorite editions, The Litany Editions, the companion editions to our experimental dance film Litany.
As always, thank you for being here.
